A horizontal R36, screen in the middle.
The R36H holds like a game controller. The screen sits in the center. The D-pad and the left stick are on the left, with the stick above the D-pad; the four face buttons and the second stick are on the right.
The screen has the same size and resolution as the R36S: 3.5 inches, 640 x 480 pixels, a 4:3 picture. The chip is the same RK3326 family too, so the R36H changes how the console sits in your hands, not how fast games run.

R36H: good questions
Does the R36H have Wi-Fi?
No built-in Wi-Fi is documented for the R36H. If you want Wi-Fi inside a horizontal R36, the R36H Pro Max has built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, along with a larger 4.2-inch screen.
Is the R36H any good?
It is a good fit if you like to hold a console sideways. It shares the RK3326 chip and the 3.5-inch 640 x 480 screen of the R36S. That chip is at home with 8-bit and 16-bit home consoles, classic arcade and early handhelds; heavier 3D systems depend a lot on the game. It is not faster than the R36S.
How can I tell if an R36H is real?
Check the spec, not the name. The R36H described by the supplier and by an independent hands-on is horizontal, with a 3.5-inch 640 x 480 screen in the center, two analog sticks and a 3,000 mAh battery. A 4.2-inch 1024 x 768 screen means another model, the R36H Pro Max. Ask for the screen size and resolution before you pay.
R36S or R36H?
